Thornton Tomasetti was engaged to investigate the condition of the plaza waterproofing at the AMA Plaza, formally known as the IBM building designed by Mies Van der Rohe.  As part of the assessment, the underside of the plaza was surveyed using infrared thermography from the basement below the plaza.
