Interior stains and balcony leaks were observed by the client.  Reportedly, a contractor concluded the balconies needed to be rebuilt due to improper slope and quoted over $300,000 in repairs.  DetaiLAB investigated and determined the contractor improperly diagnosed the issues.  To identify potential problem areas, detaiLAB completed water testing in conjunction with moisture testing and infrared thermography.  Following the testing, the suspected areas were selectively deconstructed to reveal the defective construction.  DetaiLAB issued a report with multiple repair strategies offering a range of budget options.
